Scott’s second novel, One of These Things is Not Like the Other, has just been re-released in a new edition from Queer Mojo. The original won the 2005 Lambda Literary Award for Gay Men’s Mystery, and was preceded by Execution, Texas: 1987 in 1997. He short story collection, Love Hard: Stories 1989-2009, was published in 2010.

Performance art was the focus of Scott’s BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In addition to live, multimedia remixes of his novels, he has created original solo and collaborative works presented in the United States, Canada, and Australia.

Currently Scott re-edits public domain and ephemeral films, with a focus on queering narratives and imagery. Many of these contain his original audio remixes or soundtracks.
